Denae
Denae has lived in San Luis Obispo most of her life surrounded by horses, chickens, ducks, dogs, and birds. She has had two dogs within her family named Billa and Roxy named with after the surfing companies. Billa was a lab/collie mix and Roxy was a collie/Irish Setter mix. In the middle of 2020 she lost them both to medical issues and old age happy to have had such great memories with two amazing pups.
She moved to Santa Cruz in 2021 for university and joined the Aptos-Creekside family in late November of 2023. Before this point her only familiarity with professional animal care was through volunteering at animal shelters like The Humane Society and various others. Recently, she has accepted a new family member named Polly who is an Amazon Green Yellow-Naped Parrot who has quite the personality.
In her free time she likes to do drawing, writing, photography, and traveling to new or interesting places.
